Working with microencapsulated

Many of the most valuable nutritional actives are also the most fragile. Vitamin A oxidises, carotenoids bleach under light, omega-3 oils go rancid and taint everything near them, and none of those oils can be dry-blended in their native form at all. Microencapsulation addresses both problems at once: it puts a protective matrix between the active and the oxygen, light and moisture that would degrade it, and it turns an oil into a free-flowing powder you can weigh, blend and compress.

The shell is as much a specification as the payload. Carrier system, particle size, active loading and release behaviour are all chosen for the finished application — a cold-water-dispersible beadlet for a clear beverage behaves nothing like a matrix intended to survive tabletting pressure or extrusion heat.

The range covers fat- and water-soluble vitamins, natural and synthetic carotenoids, algal and marine omegas, plant oils, botanical actives and mineral salts. Every item is supplied at a declared active loading, with the assay method stated on the certificate — the same rule as the rest of the catalogue.
